Sleeve valves are mainly used as by-passes for turbines or to draw water from dams.
Thanks to careful design, they can reduce the excess head of the inflow, discharging a tamed outflow into the stilling basin and then into the downstream channel. Nencini engineers and produces two different kind of sleeve valves:
- submerged vertical sleeve valves
- double flanged sleeve valves
Nencini also designs and engineers the stilling well connected to the valve, and can customise any submerged vertical sleeve valve on request.
