Nencini at Hydro 2017 in Seville

Nencini is exposing at Hydro 2017 in Seville, organized by Aqua-Media International Ltd., sharing, over three days, its wealth of experience of multipurpose dams, hydropower and pumped-storage development.
Delegates have engaged in discussions on all topical issues relating to hydropower worldwide, with emphasis on accelerating projects in the less developed countries, and maximizing the benefit of existing hydro assets worldwide.

Worth to say that Nencini has been widely appreciated from all international delegates for its 50 years proved capacity of engeneering and manufacturing Italian products.

FARAB visits Nencini in Colle di Val d'Elsa.

Mr Eliasi Project Manager of Uma Oya Multipurpose Development Project in Sri Lanka has visited Nencini factory for expediting the order of four ANSI600 double flanged slotted vertival sleeve discharge valves and other accessories valves.

The expediting visit has been satisfactory and attended by (from left to right in the photo) Mirko Bartalini, Financial mngr (N), Massimo Leone, Production mngr (N), Mr Eliasi (F), Vittorio Filippi, Commercial Director (N), Luciano Folini, Technical mngr (N), and Vittorio Bellezza, Senior Consultant (N).

Plunger valves Nencini : a special adjustable actuation

Last month we have completed and delivered two plunger valves for a power plant in the South of Italy. These two control valves have special actuation that was fully engineered by our Technical Department.

The challenge was to set a variable limit in the open position that adjusts the output to different seasonal conditions. Normal position of the valve is open. The desired maximum open position is previously set and then maintained by means of a hydraulic circuit powering the valve actuation unit. A hydraulic servomotor spring return type is adopted for this particular application.

Type: plunger valves ■ Quantity: 2 ■ DN: 1000 ■ PN: 10 ■ Body: Structural Steel ■ Tightness: metal-to-metal type, maintenance free.

Tested on February 28th, the two valves are currently installed on site.
